Queen Bee Acres provides wholesale Apimaye Thermal Bee Hives and in the near future, additional products that give our bees the best chance to survive and thrive in our cold Canadian climate.
Queen Bee Apiary is working to increase the honey bee population on our organic farm in beautiful British Columbia.
Queen Bee Sanctuary is creating a honey bee sanctuary, providing healthy, happy hives while aiming to lower pollinator mortality. We also plan to educate future generations on the importance of pollinators and their essential role on our planet. Our goal is to work with land owners and communities to sow native wild flowers in unused land areas and increase beneficial biodiversity for a healthy ecosystem.

We got a good snow fall. I'm glad I checked on the girls while it was warm out. Made sure they had enough food, cleaned out the bottem boards and removed my few died outs. We will see how they do through this cold snap.

We are looking forward in perfecting the queen rearing process and bee schedule this year. Focusing on details this year rather then expanding. I'm breeding for local varroa resistance, hygienic behaviours, winter survivability, good honey production, and gentleness.
